October 30th, 2018 – Xstrahl Medical, global leaders in superficial radiotherapy devices and advanced radiation research systems, has appointed Neil Madle as Commercial Director – Radiotherapy. Based at Xstrahl’s UK head office in Surrey, Madle will be responsible for the commercial performance of the company’s radiotherapy business.
Xstrahl’s superficial and orthovoltage radiotherapy systems are used by clinics worldwide to deliver effective treatments for skin cancer and other dermatological disorders, as well as providing palliation for secondary lesions.
Madle has worked in the radiation oncology space for nearly 15 years, most recently representing Varian Medical Systems as European Corporate Communications & Investor Relations Director.
“I’m excited to be joining a great team at Xstrahl,” says Madle. “Superficial and orthovoltage radiotherapy has an increasingly important role to play in the treatment of skin cancer and other conditions and I’m delighted to be able to make a contribution to the fight against cancer.”
Xstrahl has also added Alan Fisher to its team as Operations Manager, US. Formerly at Theragenics Corporation, Buford, Georgia, he brings to Xstrahl a strong operational background in manufacturing and the medical device industry where he has held responsibilities for production, quality management, inventory control, purchasing and logistics. “I am very excited for the opportunity to join a company with great leadership and innovation in the application of X-ray technology,” says Fisher. “It’s great to be part of an organization that strives to eradicate cancer on a daily basis.”
