Xstrahl, a global leader in the delivery of superficial and orthovoltage radiation therapy devices and preclinical radiation research systems, will feature Radiant Aura with XBeam treatment planning at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), in Orlando, FL, from March 7-9, 2025 (Booth #2975). Radiant Aura with XBeam is a low-dose, X-ray based, dual modality radiotherapy device for dermatologists to treat NMSC and keloid scarring in an office-based dermatology clinic.
Radiant Aura with XBeam enables dermatologists to treat basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma when surgery is not possible, contraindicated, or simply not preferred due to cosmetic concerns. By offering clinicians the choice of multiple treatment modalities with both eBt and SRT, there is a high level of flexibility to meet various patient selection criteria and diversify the practice.
XBeam, Xstrahl’s newest treatment planning software, integrates tightly into the Radiant Aura control system to simplify the process of entering a physician’s prescription. With XBeam, dermatologists can use patient-specific treatment parameters to generate a comprehensive treatment protocol that will automatically calculate the optimal exposure settings based on Radiant Aura’s specifications for dose and depth.
