Xbridge connectivity showcased at degro 2016

June 9, 2016

Xstrahl (Booth B29) will showcase the next generation in 3rd party connectivity for Xstrahl systems at this year’s Deutschen Gesellschaft für Radioonkologie e.V. (DEGRO) in Mannheim, Germany from 16th – 19th June.  XBridge offers Xstrahl users the ability to communicate with 3rd party clinical information systems, enabling data import of patient demographics and export of treatment information, ensuring traceability throughout a patient’s treatment.

Markus Rankl, Clinical Product Manager at Xstrahl explains “XBridge will allow users to integrate with 3rd party clinical information systems such as ARIA, MOSAIQ, Medavis, Medistar, WinRadiologie, and many others that have relevant interchange standards enabled. Connectivity is achieved via the major data interchange standards: DICOM, HL7 and GDT, with other standards being provided on request. We feel that this software will represent the Xstrahl Medical vision which is to be a leader in patient centered medical therapy.”

Xstrahl Medical will also be promoting their range of clinical radiotherapy systems at DEGRO2016. Chosen by leading clinicians and specialists around the world, Xstrahl radiotherapy systems are designed for the treatment of skin cancer, dermatological disorders, certain types of benign disease and some palliative care.

The conference will also provide Xstrahl Life Sciences the chance to highlight the recent developments for SARRP. The Xstrahl booth will allow attendees to learn about how cancer research is being enhanced by the Xstrahl SARRP Image Guided Micro-Irradiator

There will be 4,000 attendees from around Europe looking to experience the latest innovations in patient focused healthcare.  Xstrahl are excited to be part of the 22nd Annual Meeting of the German Society of Radiation Oncology and to share our vision of enabling a future where every patient receives patient centered healthcare.
