April 20, 2018

Xstrahl is delighted to announce a UK SARRP user group workshop taking place on Wednesday June 27th following the 2018 ARR meeting at Queen’s University, Belfast. This is a joint event held by Xstrahl, Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad) and Association for Radiation Research (ARR) to encourage collaboration across the UK small animal radiotherapy research platform (SARRP) user network.

The meeting will include plenary sessions from international users and a discussion session around potential for collaboration and joint funding in pre-clinical radiotherapy. We are happy to confirm that Prof John Wong ((Johns Hopkins University, USA) will be one of our guest speakers at the event.

As part of this workshop, some of the institutions in the UK who are using SARRP will give a brief update of their work.

Amanda Tulk, the Chief Science Officer at Xstrahl, commented: “We would like to say a big thank you to CTRad and ARR for collaborating with Xstrahl to host the UK SARRP meeting. Such events are a perfect opportunity for research professional to get together, share their experience and best practices, discuss issues and find solutions”.
