This year AACR was in Philadelphia and our group at Xstrahl had a great time at the meeting. My main take away from the meeting is the Immunotherapeutics has great potential in cancer research. What i found to be more interesting was that many studies found that the combination of immunotherapy and radiation increased the efficacy of drugs. For a company that provides radiation equipment to pre-clinical researchers we were really happy to hear that more researcher were adopting this combination therapy for their pre-clinical studies, most of these researchers were SARRP users. So I’m wondering what everyone who attended thought of the meeting? If you did attend, what are your thought of Immunotherapy? Is it just another flash in the pan or will it result in lasting therapeutic options?
